BREAKING NEWS: Bomb scare at LNG site

Workers have been evacuated from the South Hook LNG site this morning, following what is believed to be a bomb scare.

A spokesman for the company confirmed that a phone call had been received at the site this morning.

He said that all workers had been evacuated from the site to the other side of the perimeter fence as a result of the phone call and that police had been called to the scene.

A full statement is due from the company within the next two hours.

Police are currently at the site.

A spokesman for Milford Haven police station confirmed that there was an ongoing incident at the site and that all Milford Haven officers were currently at the site. They are expected to be there for at least two more hours.

A spokesman for Dyfed-Powys police said that they are dealing with an incident at South Hook LNG and are currently liasing with management on site.

A worker at the site said that all employees have been sent home. He said that they were told at 9.20 this morning that there had been a "threat". Workers have been told to return to the site tomorrow morning.

He said that there were around 15 police cars at the site.

"It's such a big site it is going to take a long time to search," he added.
