Pembrokeshire police are reminding drivers that drink and drug driving is illegal after 17 people have been arrested this month for drink driving in the county.
Twenty five percent of these had been involved in collisions.
Inspector Gareth Thomas, of the Roads Policing Unit, said: "Drink driving is illegal at anytime of the year.
"We tend to find when we are running high profile campaigns over the Christmas and summer periods we don't find so many people drinking and driving.
"However it appears people think there is less chance of being caught when a campaign is not running.
"We target drink and drug drivers 365 days of the year the roads policing unit is on patrol 24 hours a day denying criminals the use of the roads.
"Our message is simple if you have had a drink don't drive."
