A Pembroke Dock schoolboy was rushed to hospital yesterday after he was involved in a car crash near the school on Pembroke Road.
A member of the public alerted the emergency services by rushing into the near by fire station and shouting that a young boy had been knocked down.
Fire crews helped stabilise the 11-year-old, who had sustained a head injury, minor abrasions and hip pains.
He was put on a spinal board and taken to Withybush Hospital where he was kept in overnight and released today with minor injuries.
