Four Polish and one Dutch driver of Irish-owned articulated lorries were listed at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on Monday for alleged offences under traffic laws.
Radoslaw Krzysztof Struzik (28) of New Ross, County Wexford, Charl Van Der Walt (33) also of New Ross and Samalius Vytautas (45) of Ballinalaid, County Tipperary, face charges of failing to take statutory daily rest periods while Witold Krzyszczak (40) also of New Ross is accused of speeding.
Their cases were adjourned to September 23rd.
The other driver, Jaroslav Kavicky (57) of Ballsbridge , Dublin, charged with driving excessive hours, had his case withdrawn because, the court was told, nearly two years after the alleged offence his whereabouts is unknown.
