A primary school headteacher charged with 19 counts of sexual touching is due to appear in Haverfordwest Magistrates court this morning (Monday).
David Bryan Thorley, is currently suspended from his post, he is charged with incidents alleged to have taken place between 2003 and 2007.
Thorley, of Bryn Heulog, Heol Penlanffos, Carmarthen last appeared in front of the court on July 1st. He did not enter a plea and magistrates declined jurisdiction.
Thorley was granted unconditional bail to appear in front of the court this morning for a committal hearing.
Following confirmation that Thorley had been charged under the Sexual Offences Act, Pembrokeshire County Council announced his suspension from the post of headteacher.
"This action does not imply that Pembrokeshire County Council has made any judgement in the matter," said a spokesman.
"No further comment will be made until the matter has been resolved through the due legal process."
