Prendergast and Bwlchygroes Post Offices are to be closed, Post Office Ltd has announced.
The branches were among 11 across south west Wales that Post Office Ltd decided to review further after the recent consultation over the change to the Post Office network.
But despite hard-fought campaigns, both are to close, Post Office Ltd announced on Wednesday.
Presli Pembrokeshire Assembly Member Paul Davies slammed the consultation process as a sham and added: "When Post Office Ltd announced that it would review the proposals to close these branches, both my affected constituents and I hoped that the decision would be overturned.
"However, they have ignored the vast amounts of local opposition and are pursuing with a course of action that will undoubtedly have a negative affect on the communities that these branches serve."
Steve Geraty, Post Office Ltd's Network Development Manager said: "We appreciate that any decision to close a branch will often be unpopular. Nevertheless, we have to make decisions to close branches in order to put the network on a more stable footing for the future and achieve this in a way which best meets the demands and concerns of its customers."
