The campaign for curvy ladies has found its frontwoman in the form of Emma Tabor, from Pembroke.

The 5ft 10ins journalism student, currently studying at Cardiff University, is flying the flag for real women everywhere after her killer curves and cool confidence saw her voted winner of a UK-wide modelling competition.

The quest to find the face and figure of lingerie company Brastop.com’s latest range, Emma was voted as the winner by the general public - her size 12 figure and natural bust size 30J proving to be great assets in her top model bid.

The underwear company, which boasts an online store as well as retail outlets in London, specialises in providing bras for the more ample chested woman in a wide variety of styles.

An excited Emma told the Western Telegraph about her first photo shoot: “I loved it, it was really fun. They had a vintage theme and there was loads of nice jewellery.

“As part of the prize I get to have pictures and an interview for a spread in Real People magazine and my picture is going to be in Cosmopolitan magazine next month!”

Asked how it felt seeing her pictures in the public domain, Emma said: “It’s a bit surreal, but everyone’s being really supportive. My family is really excited too – this is the first time I’ve ever done anything like this.”

The lucky lady has yet more dates for her diary, with more glamorous photo shoots lined up over the next few months. Free underwear for the next year is just another perk of the job.
