As Christmas draws closer and people in Pembrokeshire start to think about soldiers from the county who are posted overseas, we at the Western Telegraph want to help you get your messages of support and solidarity and Christmas cheer to them.

To this end we have created this section in the Editor's Choice part of the Western Telegraph website where you can post your messages for local servicemen to see.

In the same way Pembrokeshire servicemen who are posted overseas can write messages back to their friends and families at home.

Simply register to leave your comment and add your message in the comments part of this story.

An ideal opportunity to wish our brave boys in Iraq and Afghanistan the best.

Our first comment was e-mailed into us by Daniel Jones serving on HMS Chatham in the gulf.

My name is Daniel Jones and I am currently serving on HMS Chatham which is currently deployed in the gulf and has been for the last 6 months, as means of contact are limited out here I was wondering if it would be possible for a little note to be put into the paper saying a big hello to all of my friends, Jon, Mel and Russ at the brewery Inn in Cosheston, Adam, Jason, Andrew, Owen and everyone else I have left out and to my girlfriend leah who I miss with all my heart, my mum and two younger brothers and my father. This would mean the world to them and to me if you could make this happen

Guys, since moving to Pembrokeshire earlier this year, I have thoroughly enjoyed watching Military exercises in the Manorbier and Castlemartin areas. Seeing Tanks, jets, helicopters and other craft perfrom such billiant manouvres is truly breathtaking! You are inspirational people, good luck and best wishes to you all.
