A public meeting will be held by MP Stephen Crabb at the Picton Centre, Haverfordwest at 6.30pm

Preseli Pembrokeshire MP Stephen Crabb will face constituents tonight in a public meeting at the Picton Centre, Haverfordwest.

At the meeting, which begins at 6.30pm Mr Crabb will explain his expense claims and respond to any questions people may have.

Mr Crabb said he has been meeting with constituents on their doorsteps throughout Pembrokeshire and discussing a wide range of issues, inparticular the reform of parliamentary expenses.

In an interview with BBC Wales this morning Mr Crabb said that he had a mixed response from constituents, some in support, some who supported him but had direct questions they wanted answered while some gave him the “hair dryer treatment”.

He also said that he had no intention of standing down at the next election. He said: “If there were any serious issues with my expenses I would not still be a member of David Cameron’s front bench team.”

Well, for certain, if the local party present him at the forthcoming general election, he will recieve no votes from any of our family. He has obviously become institutionalised to the degree when he is incapable of recognising right from wrong.

If the dishonourable member is so confident that he has done nothing wrong, then let us have a by election and see if the tax paying voters share his confidence!

David Cameron is NOT God and does not represent the people of Preseli Pembrokeshire.

He makes it evident that in his consideration "fliping" the theoretical status of property towards personal gain is within the spirit of the "green book rules".

It was not a good meeting. It was packed with the Tory faithful and Mr Crabb avoided all the difficult questions. It was turned into a Tory election meeting - they even handed out a letter from David Cameron asking us to "Vote for Change". Talk about taking liberties. I heard nothing that didn't confirm my opinion that Mr Crabb flipped his address for personal financial gain at our expense. He actually admitted he was "a few hundred a month better off". If he going to pay that back as well?

Stephen Crabb employs his wife as a PA, paid from his Staffing Allowance. He won't tell us how much she earns. I suspect because he is paying back £9,300 she will receive a £9,300 pay rise this year? He won't be honest so how do we know any different? Answer me directly Mr Crabb!

I have spoken with Stephen on numerous occasions both in public and private.
Whilst he has berated him for foolish stupidity in accepting the "Green Book" rules, which I think he now accepts, he has agreed that he will go on a door to door, town to town, coffee shop and pub crawl to explain himself to the voters of Preselli Pembrokeshire.
It seems to me that he has 2 options,1) he resigns immediately thereby calling a by-election and a genuine vote for the voters or 2) await a General election whilst giving the people of Pembrokeshire a 1st class open and fully accountable service in order to redeem himself.
Next weeks Euro elections are likely to see a major kick up the bum for most main parties.... if any one votes!!
(please dont vote for bigots and idiots!!!!)
But Stephen needs to hit the street and lanes of Pembrokeshire if he wishes to retain his seat.........
