A chance for people to help improve the quality of life in the Tenby area is on offer with the next meeting of Tenby Connect.
The group brings together all Tenby’s organisations with the aim of providing a useful consultative forum and working in partnership to achieve the goals set out in the Action Plan which was developed in 2007.
The group was set up with the assistance of Planed and is co-ordinated by Tenby Town Council. Explained town clerk Andrew Davies: “The Connect meetings to date have been really beneficial, providing consultation and input on such aspects as the enhancement of Tudor Square, the provision of a skate park and the setting up of a conservation forum to protect the town’s built heritage.
“However, there are still a number of things on the wish list, like the provision of a low-water landing stage, the enhancement of Castle Hill and the refurbishment of the De Valence, and the best way to achieve this is by the town ‘connecting’ and working together.”
The meeting will take place at 7pm tonight (November 10th) in Augustus Place Community Centre.
Any proposals for discussion can be submitted to the town council before the meeting. It is open to all representatives of local organisations.
Anyone interested can contact Mr Davies at the town council offices on 01834 842730.
