Dyfed-Powys Police to carry out further tests on Old Pump House

Police are carrying out further forensic tests on the body of a man recovered at the Old Pump House, Station Road, Whitland on Sunday 8th November 2009.

The initial post mortem carried out on the body proved inconclusive, further tests are being carried out to ascertain the cause of death.

Dyfed-Powys Police said that, following extensive enquiries, the circumstances surrounding the death are currently not being treated as suspicious.

Enquiries are continuing in an attempt to formally identify the dead man.

Police expressed thanks to the community of Whitland for their support during the investigation.
