Two people with a combined age of over 180 were checked over by paramedics following a fire at their home in Robert Street, Milford Haven yesterday (Wednesday).
Fire fighters were called to the incident at 1.13pm, along with police and paramedics.
They found the fire, which had started in a cooker, still alight and used one hose reel jet and two sets of breathing apparatus to deal with it.
The fire completely destroyed the kitchen of the house. The two residents, one in their eighties and the other aged 102, were checked over by fire crew and paramedics.
One patient was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene. However, neither needed to be taken to hospital.
