A huge rescue mission was launched yesterday (Wednesday) for three young girls cut off by the tide near Milford Haven.
The 11 and 12-year-old girls became trapped on the beach at the Rath at around 4.30pm.
Angle lifeboat, Dale coastguard rescue team, South Pembrokeshire sector manager, the port authority, an ambulance, a fire appliance and Dyfed-Powys police were all tasked to the incident.
The girls were rescued by Angle inshore lifeboat and handed over to paramedics. One child was treated for a minor head injury.
All three were then handed over to one of their fathers who had arrived during the rescue.
