A jury has retired to decide whether a father is guilty of the murder of his teenage daughter, Sasha Jones.
The judge in the case, Mr Justice Lloyd Jones, spent this morning (Wednesday) summing up the case and the jury retired shortly before 1pm.
Gary John Fisher, 48, admits stabbing 17 -year-old Sasha to death as she sat in the passenger seat of his car, unable to escape because of the seat belt she was wearing.
Fisher's defence team argue he is guilty only of manslaughter because he and Sasha had a suicide pact.
The prosecution at Swansea crown court dismissed the claim as "nonsense" and urged the jury to return a verdict of murder.
Sasha, of Golwg y Castell, Cardigan, died on August 2nd last year in a car park behind the Angel Hotel in Cardigan.
Fisher, of Solihull near Birmingham denies murder.
