Police say a man left with a fractured skull following an assault last week is now in an improved condition.
The incident happened at around 12.44am on Saturday, July 10th, outside the Ship and Anchor pub, High Street, Fishguard.
Haverfordwest CID is investigating and has made an appeal for witnesses to come forward.
The 22 year-old victim is currently in Withybush Hospital with a fractured skull and bleeding and swelling to the brain.
His condition was described as "critical" before the weekend, but is now said to have improved.
Police believe only one other male was involved in the incident, and investigations are ongoing.
