A man has undergone emergency surgery to replace part of his ear which was bitten off when he was assaulted in Pembrokeshire in the early hours of Saturday.
The incident happened outside the toilet block in Saundersfoot's Regency car park at around 1am.
The injured man, is in his early 20s and from the Kilgetty area. He was taken by ambulance to Morriston Hospital, Swansea for treatment following recovery of the lower part of his ear which had been bitten off by his assailant.
A man from the London area has been arrested in relation to the incident, and bailed while further enquiries are made.
Anyone who has any information, or was in and around the car park in Saundersfoot at the time of the incident, is asked to contact PC Terry Pugh at Tenby police station on 101.
