Little and Broad Haven WI The new president Judith welcomed members, new members and guests to the first open meeting of the year recently.
Judith and Gina had attended the Mini consultative meeting and gave a synopsis of the seven resolutions discussed there. Members votes were then collected.
Speaker, Jim Garner, related his experiences, with slides, of his journey through China and a train journey on the Tibetan roof of the world, apparently the highest railway in the world, which was very interesting and enjoyable.
The vote of thanks was given by Marion. The tea hostesses were Jan and Anne, who also both won the raffles.
The next meeting will be in Little Haven on February 8th. The speaker will be a member of the Air Ambulance crew. All new members welcome.
