There were smiling faces all round as several Pembrokeshire secondary schools celebrated their best ever GCSE results.
Two pupils gained A* in 13 subjects and a number of other pupils got a full house in A*s.
Overall the county saw an improvement in results with an A*-C pass rate of over 60% for the third consecutive year.
The WJEC pass rate at this level was 63.1%, which is above the Welsh average of 62.3%.
Pembrokeshire's overall pass rate A*-G is 98%, maintaining improvements made over the past five years.
This is in line with the Welsh pass rate of 98.1%.
Pembrokeshire County Council cabinet member for children and young people Cllr Islwyn Howells said: "Education is, and always has been, one of the council's top priorities and the results show that this commitment is paying dividends."
