A council-owned farm at Manorbier will be sold off to generate capital.
Pembrokeshire County Council’s cabinet agreed on Monday (Feb 6th) to dispose of Eastmoor Farm located one mile west of Manorbier.
The farm is currently vacant following the retirement of the tenant farmer. Councillors heard that several of its building are in poor repair require significant investment and there are access issues from the main road.
“This is not about selling off the family silver,” said Council Leader John Davies. “It’s about making it work in an effective way.
“Disposal would release significant sums of capital which we now require.”
The farm is likely to be sold along with an adjoining parcel of privately owned land which would resolve access issues.

Well if you are a councilor I would expect political comments made on a public forum to be placed using your real name not a nom de plume.
