Two youth workers and two projects from Pembrokeshire have been nominated for awards celebrating excellence in youth work.
The Youth Work Excellence Awards, which takes place this evening, recognise the valuable contribution youth workers make to their communities and young people.
It is the third year the event has been held and Pembrokeshire nominees include Nick Clark, who works at Newgale YMCA, who has been nominated for the part time youth worker award.
Stephen Lewis, who works for Pembrokeshire Youth, is up for the youth worker under 25 years old award category.
The Pembrokeshire Youth: Come Dine with Me 2011 project has been nominated in the health and wellbeing of young people group project category.
While the Pembrokeshire Urdd group have also made the shortlist, this time in the category for the Welsh Language and Culture group project award.
The awards evening will take place at the SWALEC Stadium in Cardiff tonight (Thursday)and will be hosted by Radio 1 DJ Huw Stephens.
