Soldier dies after Castlemartin live firing exercise

Dyfed-Powys Police announced today (Friday) that officers are investigating the death of a soldier at Castlemartin RAC Range, following a live firing exercise on Wednesday.
Police are being assisted in their enquiries by the Health and Safety Executive.
The soldier’s next of kin have been informed, as has HM Coroner.
This is the second incident at the range this year. In January a soldier was shot and badly injured during a live firing exercise.
