Lifeboat launched to yacht Mayday

St David’s lifeboat was launched this morning (Monday) after a yacht issued a Mayday off St Davids Head.

The Kent Venture was on passage from Milford Haven to Cumbria. At around 6am she encountered problems with her fuel supply, exacerbated by the difficult sea conditions.

St David’s lifeboat towed the yacht, with three crew onboard, to Fishguard Harbour to seek repairs.
