Celebrity zoo keeper Anna Ryder –Richardson is due to appear at Haverfordwest magistrates court today (Monday) for a committal hearing.
The TV star faces two charges under the health and safety at work act 1974. She stands jointly charged alongside husband, Colin MacDougall, and their company Manor House Wildlife Park Ltd.
One charge is of an employer breach of general duty to an employee. The second charge is of a breach of general duty to a person other than an employee.
The prosecution has been brought by the Public Protection division at Pembrokeshire County Council.
Ryder-Richardson, aged 48, and MacDougall, aged 46, entered not guilty pleas to the charges last month. Their solicitor Claire Rawle entered not guilty pleas on behalf of the company.
The prosecution follows an incident where a tree fell on a boy and his mother in the park in August 2010.
The boy sustained serious head injuries following the incident in the wallaby enclosure.
Magistrates have declined jurisdiction in the case. The case is due to be committed to crown court this afternoon.
