Police appeal after couple fall

Police are appealing for witnesses to an elderly couple's fall in Narberth's High Street this (Monday) morning.

The couple were crossing the road by the Spar shop at around 9.45am, when the gentleman came into contact with a slowly-reversing small van. He apparently fell against his wife who then also fell to the ground.

An ambulance was called, and the couple were checked over at the scene, but did not require hospital treatment.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen the incident, including the driver of a car that was parked behind the van.
