Nevern residents are celebrating the Queen’s jubilee by having an Open Gardens event tomorrow (Sunday) and Monday June 4th.
Gordon Coombes, chairman of the Village Hall committee, was keen to express his delight in the way local people were showing their support for this event.
He said: “2012 is a big year for our fundraising events for the village hall. We have launched our 100-plus club and now hope our Open Garden days will raise further funds.
“All six gardens are looking good and one of the gardeners has even grown a Celtic labyrinth that visitors can walk as part of the tour.
“Locals who are not opening up their gardens will be busy providing refreshments and selling plants on both days at the village hall.”
