The public toilets at Brunel Quay, Neyland have had to be closed, following a fire yesterday (Thursday) evening.
Two fire appliances from Milford Haven attended the blaze at 7.22pm. Firefighters used one hose reel jet, a thermal imaging camera and four sets of breathing apparatus. They remained at the scene for 45 minutes.
A council spokesman said that around £700 of damage had been caused to the toilets.
At the moment the ladies, gents and disabled toilets on the quay are closed. The gents are expected to be open at the weekend but the spokesman said that the ladies will take a little longer to reopen.
