Firefighters who rescued a trapped squirrel from guttering watched it plunge to the ground from two storeys up "in a dive Tom Daley would have been proud of."
A fire appliance from Pembroke Dock was called to the rescue at 2.50pm on Sunday in Lewis Street, Pembroke Dock.
The call came from the RSPCA to rescue a grey squirrel with its paw stuck under guttering on the two storey house.
Graeme Callan, Watch Manager at Pembroke Dock Fire & Rescue Station, said: "The squirrel immediately freed itself and did a dive that Olympic high diver Tom Daley would have been proud of.
"Unfortunately the landing was a bit of a belly flop onto the road.
"The squirrel was fine and ran off down the road presumably in search of its nuts".
