A-Level results in Pembrokeshire: Ysgol Dewi Sant triplets excel

Ysgol Dewi Sant triplets Lisa, Finn and Johannes Neumann have excelled in their A-Levels.

Finn achieved straight A's in History, German, and Religous Studies, and will now go to Exeter University to study Modern Languages and Business.

Johannes had an A* in Religious Studies and A's in History and German, and will take a gap year before heading to the same University to study Law and German Law.


Lisa will take a gap year after achieving an A* in Physical Education, and A's in French, Biology and Religious Studies.

 


Throughout the school pupils achieved a 100% pass rate with 38% of entries achieving the top grades of A*-A.


Also, 86% of students achieved a grade C or better.


Acting head teacher Dai Haynes said: "These first class results reflect the hard work of students and teachers, coupled with the support of their families.


"Our students are heading to Universities across the UK and some further afield to Denmark and Guyana."


Head girl Shamain Haque is going to study Theology at Oxford University after getting three straight A's. Head boy Nick Smith got an A* and two A's and is off to study Maths and German in Swansea University.


Hannah Stowe got an A* and two A's and is going to Kings College Lonson to study Art, while Lucy Owen is heading to Cardiff University to study German and Law after getting three A's and a B.
