Returning troops set for county town parade

Troops from Cawdor Barracks, who have recently returned from a tour of duty in Afghanistan, will parade through Haverfordwest before being presented with campaign medals on Wednesday, September 26th.
Haverfordwest mayor Councillor Ken Wyburn and General Baxter will present the medals to the troops of 223 Signal Squadron (EW) at 11.10am at Picton Place, followed by a reception at the William Owen on Quay Street.
The parade starts at 11am from the Old Bridge to the Cenotaph, via Swan Square, Bridge Street, Castle Sqaure, Victoria Place and New Bridge.
Cllr Wyburn said: “This will be a very proud day for our town and it is only right that we recognise the risks these men and women take on a daily basis whilst on active duty."
