Police appeal after Fishguard burglaries
1:30pm Monday 17th September 2012 in News
Hundreds of pounds worth of fishing equipment has been stolen during a burglary in Fishguard.
Between 8pm on Tuesday, September 11th, and 2pm the following day, a garden shed at the rear of a house in Heol Glyndwr was broken into.
Thieves took seven fishing rods from the shed: a beach casting rod with a red taped tip, a light blue fishing rod and several maroon coloured rods. The goods were valued at a total of between £600
and £700.
Another burglary took place in the same street between August 15th and 30th. Thieves entered the property by smashing a window in the back door, reaching in and turning the key which had been left
in the lock.
Items including a television, DVD recorder and jewellery were taken from the house.
Police are today (Monday) asking anybody with any information on either crime to contact PC 328 Watkins at Fishguard police station on 101.
