Pensioner affray case due to be committed

The case of a 70-year-old man who denies threatening unlawful violence towards another is due to be committed to crown court today (Tuesday).

John Edward Howells Mathias, of Gwilliam Court, Pembroke, appeared at Haverfordwest magistrates court last month, charged with affray at Llangwm on May 5th.

The hearing was adjourned until today (Tuesday) when the case is due to be committed.

Mathias, who elected a crown court trial, was released on unconditional bail.
