Further tests planned for Cleddau Bridge signs
11:52am Tuesday 18th September 2012 in News
The closure signs on the Cleddau Bridge will be tested again tomorrow evening Wednesday September 19th.
It follows maintenance work on the bridge’s closure signs last week.
Motorists are being asked to disregard the messages displayed on the signs between approximately 6pm and 7pm tomorrow.
During the testing some signs will occasionally display messages saying the Cleddau Bridge is closed to high-sided vehicles or all vehicles, but there are no plans to close the bridge.
If you want to check the status of the bridge, go online at Pembrokeshire County Council ’s website www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk which displays the bridge status on the homepage.
Alternatively, to receive an update direct to your mobile, text ‘bridge' to 80039. Texts are charged at standard network rate.
