An impasse between police and an “agitated” man on the roof of a Haverfordwest shop looks set to continue into this evening.
Armed police, police dogs and a police negotiator have all been at the scene since the incident began at around 12.55pm today.
The man’s behaviour was deemed “agitated” and “threatening” by police who also feared that he could have a weapon.
Haverfordwest town centre was closed off during the incident. Castle Square has now reopened but some areas off Bridge Street remain closed to the public.
