Parents' response needed for school safety survey

Parents have until tomorrow (Friday) to complete a council survey on safety in schools.

The survey aims to give parents and guardians the opportunity to share their views and experiences of having a child in a Pembrokeshire school – and the arrangements that are in place to keep their children safe.

The survey is being organised by the council’s education and social services departments.

It asks for parents’ opinions on a range of issues, such as how confident they are that their child is safe in school, and whether they know how to report any concerns they might have.

Responses will be used to identify areas of concern, and wherever possible to make the changes and improvements necessary to address any issues that arise.

Parents can go directly to the Have Your Say area of the council’s website: (www.pembrokeshire.gov.uk/haveyoursay) or, they can contact the council on 01437 775263 for a paper version of the survey.
