Gym relaunch raises breast cancer cash
12:40pm Thursday 11th October 2012 in News
Women-only gym Curves, Haverfordwest, is relaunching in style tomorrow (Friday) with all proceeds going to Breast Cancer Care.
The gym at Snowdrop Lane is now a family affair, with new owners Christine and Barry Barnard handing over the management reins to daughter-in-law Emma Dawes.
The Girls Night In relaunch features entertainment, raffle, hair and make-up tasters by the staff of neighbouring business Chic International Hair Design, who are giving up their time to help.
Curves’ 30-minute workout is popular across the country and can help those with limited free time meet their healthy exercise targets.
The branch has had a facelift and Emma, along with colleague Jacqui Duggan, is looking forward to welcoming new and old members.
The special fundraising launch starts at 7.30pm.
