North Pembs floods disrupt school bus services

There is serious flooding in north Pembrokeshire and Ceredigion this afternoon, following today’s heavy rain.

Pembrokeshire County Council is warning of serious flooding in the Cardigan and Crymych areas which may lead to school bus delays this afternoon.

The A478 at Rhoshill, between Crymych and Cardigan, has been closed and Richards Bros are diverting their school buses.

There are also hazardous driving conditions south of Crymych and in Crymych.

The Cardigan to St Dogmaels road is closed near Cardigan Bridge and there are also flooding reports regarding the A487 trunk road at Eglwyswrw, significant flooding and hazardous driving conditions at Felindre Farchog and a further report of heavy surface water at Llantood near Cardigan.
