Pembrokeshire has say on independent living consultation

Pembrokeshire People First, the local charity run by and for adults with learning disabilities, ran a consultation day on the Welsh Government’s Framework for Action on Independent Living today (Monday).

The consultation day, at the Picton Centre, Haverfordwest, provided an opportunity for people to find out what is in the framework and contribute their thoughts and experiences. This information will then be sent to the Welsh Government.

“It’s important that adults with learning disabilities from across Pembrokeshire tell the Welsh Government what they think, and whether this framework will have an effect on the things that are important in their lives,” said a Pembrokeshire People First spokesman.
