There were spectacular scenes in Saundersfoot last night (Wednesday) as an exceptionally high tide made a splash with a few local thrill seekers.

The Environment Agency had warned the public to stay away from areas where they could be swept away by waves or hit by debris, but these spectators could not resist seeing the waves lashing up against the sea front.

Yep. Always a great idea to stand at the edge and have the waves wash over you. And then expect the RNLI to come and scoop you out of the sea.
