A Rosemarket teenager has reached the regional finals of a singing competition and is set to perform in front of a panel of industry professionals to win a place in the national finals.
Georgia Picton (pictured), who attends West Wales Academy of Drama and Dance, will compete in the Under- 16s category of The Open Mic UK competition at the Coal Exchange in Cardiff tomorrow (Saturday), for the chance to compete in the National Final to be hosted at the O2, London.
The 13-year-old, a member of Swansea Stage School, will sing in front of a large crowd and will be looking to impress the panel of judges from the music industry and regional press.
A coach of supporters will make the journey to Cardiff with Georgia who is excited and nervous about reaching this stage of the contest.
