BUSINESSES are being urged to take part in a national conversation about the type of Wales they would like to see by 2050.

An event is being held at the Wales Millennium Centre, Cardiff, on Tuesday, April 8, from 6.30pm to 9pm.

Commissioner for sustainable futures and leader of the conversation Peter Davies said: “This event is an opportunity for people in business to focus on the sort of Wales where sustainable businesses can thrive in the future.

“It’s a chance for businesses today to have their say on the long-term goals that will establish the right environment for companies to do prosperous and sustainable business tomorrow.”

Six goals have been drafted by Welsh Government: prosperity and innovation; Wales using its fair share of natural resources; community safety, cohesion, and resilience; Welsh culture and language; health; and equality.
