CUSTOMER demand has led a Pembrokeshire couple to refocus the core of their business.

Jim and Tracey Payne started a business buying and selling mobile phones and games consoles in 2012, but soon customers were asking for repairs too.

"After some research we noticed that many companies who offer repairs were from away and customers explained they were not happy sending devices via post," said the couple.

"There wasn't a local company that offered same day repairs with a large selection of screens in stock and so we began to offer that service.

"We started to do about 10 repairs a week and now we repair upwards of 40 phones and tablets a week.

"We are the only business in Pembrokeshire who have the Itechnician Approved status meaning that customers can bring their device for repair safe in the knowledge that they will receive a cost effective, quality repair. We offer repairs to the general business as well as companies."

The firm can repair most smartphones, iPads, and Samsung Tablets as well as unlocking phones.

There is a repair group on Facebook with over 3,000 members and the couple take great pride in the good feeback from customers.

"We have been overwhelmed with local support and the next stage in our business plan is to open the repair centre to offer customers a while you wait service along with accessories, free hot drinks, TV, Free Wifi and cases."

Here to Buy Repairs is holding an open day to launch the new repair centre at its base at Unit 50 on the Honeyborough Industrial Estate, Neyland, on Saturday from 10am.

It has also launched a new website: www.htbdevicerepair.co.uk
