local businesses came together on June 7th for a fantastic networking event.
Organised by PBI and supported by the partly European funded Pembrokeshire B2B programme, the evening was hosted by Mike Hopkins, of The Development Company.
Mike spoke about the benefits of networking for businesses and gave the audience practical tips on improving their networking skills.
Everyone took part in fun activities that set the tone for an entertaining event.
Lucy Griffiths, of Eversheds said: "It was a really nice evening and a fantastic opportunity to meet local businesses."
Chairman of Milford Haven Port Authority, Bob Clarke, talked about the benefits of networking, becoming involved in the awards and what that could afford local organisations.
Newly elected AM for Preseli Pembrokeshire, Paul Davies, underlined the importance of the local business community to Pembrokeshire's continuing growth and prosperity.
The evening was also a chance to launch the 2007 Pembrokeshire Business Awards. Claire Staley from PBI, one of the awards organisers, introduced the categories for 2007 and Tony Edwards, of Powersafe spoke about the prestige that winning in 2006 had given his business.
Local businesses were inspired to put their organisations forward for the awards, in a bid to gain valuable recognition for their hard work and a boost for their business.
