The failure of the Crown Prosecution Service to serve vital papers in a drugs case was branded as "a mockery of the system" and an "abuse of process" by a defence lawyer at Haverfordwest Magistrates Court yesterday (Wednesday).
Police who spotted a man acting suspiciously in Clay Lane, Haverfordwest, had to take him into custody and keep him under 24 hour supervision after he swallowed what appeared to be a wrap of heroin.
