A Haverfordwest man appeared in court today (Friday) following an incident involving a ball bearing gun.

Max Kayode Laurence Huntley, aged 25, of Dew Street, was before Judge Peter Heywood at Swansea crown court for a plea and case management hearing.

He admitted causing criminal damage to the interior walls of a flat in Bridge Street between September 10th and September 23rd.

Huntley, who is bi-polar and has Asperger’s, epilepsy and ADHD, also admitted an offence of affray between September 20th and September 23rd.

The charges follow a 26 hour “siege” in Haverfordwest in September 2012. During much of this time the town centre was closed to the public, as Huntley remained on the roof of his flat at Hole in the Wall, Bridge Street.

Dean Pulling, prosecuting, said he would need a week to consider whether to accept Huntley's version of events.

Judge Heywood said he would sentence Huntley on February 15th to allow time for a probation officer to prepare a report into his background.

He told Huntley's barrister, Carina Hughes, that a psychiatric report might also help the sentencing judge.

Huntley was granted bail meanwhile.
