Free training for enterprising groups
12:00pm Wednesday 20th February 2013 in County News
A free training day will be held tomorrow (Thursday, February 21) for groups and individuals thinking about setting up a social enterprise.
Social enterprises are being championed by government as the new vehicle to deliver public services.
However for some the term ‘social enterprise’ is a complete mystery and not widely understood.
To provide some clarity Pembrokeshire Association of Voluntary Services is running a workshop entitled “Social enterprise – what is it and is it for you?” at their Haverfordwest office from 10am to 1pm.
The free workshop is delivered by Anne Isaac from the Collaborative Communities Project.
To book a place contact the PAVS development team on 01437 769422 or email development@ pavs.org.uk.
Pembrokeshire Association of Volunteer Services (PAVS) has developed an annual training programme which includes a series of free workshops and information sessions.
