Pembroke RFC's 25th Anniversary Summer Carnival takes place today Saturday (July 5).
The carnival procession will leave the Commons Road at 1pm. Fireman Sam, Peppa Pig and the Minions will be starring in what promises to be another colourful spectacle.There will be a £500 prize for the best carnival float.
After the procession entertainment will include The 3 Amigos, Pembroke Dock Young Firefighters, Vibe Dance Group, Pembrokeshire Falconry displays and live music from Dig Deep.
There will also be a mini quad bike rally, grand raffle, tug of war, rodeo bull, giant superslide, vintage tractor run, dunking stool, pram push, classic car club, fairground as well as stalls, face painting, marching bands, fancy dress and five-a-side football.
Entry is £1 for adults, and 50p for children and senior citizens.
Carnival coordinator David Thompson: “It’s set to be another great event this year. Hopefully the weather will be kind to us and there’s plenty going on. It’s a real community event.”
