Police have tonight (Saturday) confirmed that a person has been killed in a collision on the A477 between Broadmoor and Redberth earlier today.
A statement from Dyfed-Powys Police, said: "Police have been dealing with a road traffic collision on the A477 Broadmoor to Redberth this afternoon and the road will remain closed for the next couple of hours.
"A report was received at 13:40 hours of a two vehicle collision. Unfortunately the driver of one of the vehicles died at the scene. The family of the deceased have been informed by officers.
"The two people in the other vehicle have been taken to hospital with injuries and are currently being assessed.
"Officers have informed the Coroner’s Office.
"Police are appealing for anyone who saw the collision to call PC Justin Williams on 101."
