She’s beaten cancer, been Race for Life ambassador, joined stars to raise funds and more - all before turning 18 - and her next big event will see her join thousands who will Stand Up to Cancer today (Friday).
Lauren George, from Pembroke Dock, is well known for her singer/songwriter talent and her enthusiastic fundraising for cancer charities, having fought the disease when she was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia aged nine.
Now 18, Lauren will be performing with other cancer survivors in a special choir on Chanel 4’s Stand Up to Cancer event which will be broadcast live this evening.
The choir has been rehearsing at the Metropolis Studios in Chiswick with The Voice coach Mark De-Lisser and will also be joined by a top secret musical superstar on the night.
