PEOPLE in Neyland will now have an opportunity to voice their concerns to a local community officer, at a new monthly surgery.

The monthly surgery will be held at Neyland Library on the third Wednesday of every month, between 10am and noon, and it will be an opportunity for people to talk to local PCSOs about their issues.

Mayor of Neyland, Cllr Simon Hancock, said he had been working with the police to establish a regular police presence in the town, and welcomed the news.

Neyland PCSO Leanne Nicholls said: β€œIt is a priority for us to ensure that the public can access the police in their local community. We are here to help people feel safe and to deal with issues and concerns that matter in communities, and a regular police surgery at Neyland library will assist us in achieving this.

"Everyone is welcome a the surgery, and I would urge anyone with any concerns to attend so that we can discuss the best way forward to tackle any issues together.”
