Lots include a tour of the set of Ripper Street and lunch with Jerome Flynn, a Game of Thrones Script signed by the cast, a framed Banksy limited edition print and a Wimbledon 2014 final tennis ball signed by Novak Djokovic.

Pale Moon founder Jerome Flynn explains: “The name Pale Moon came from the 1st line of a song made famous by John George, a greatly loved local man and swashbuckling Llanrhian cricketer, who lived life with a passion and spirit that was infectious to all that knew him.

The song, an old Irish folk ballad called 'the Rose of Tralee' started with the line "the pale moon was rising" and it was often only this much that John George managed to get out, depending on what level of celebration he had reached!

“In the late 1970s a bi-annual cricket tour was started by actor Eric Flynn between his Kentish village side Ide Hil and the the Llanrhian team which he and the Flynn family had adopted as their own. Once a year, either side of the season, each side would travel the 275 miles across the land to celebrate the communal friendships that had formed over the years, and to fiercely and joyfully compete over two games for a cup.

Over the 10 or so years that these tours took place legendary tales were born and great friendships forged, and it is in celebration of that spirit, the times shared, and the lives of John George and Eric Flynn that we take to the field once more. Both men were taken from us at a young age by cancer, so it is apt that this year the benefiting charity is 'Yes To Life' which is doing so much to support and inspire those with cancer to embrace their lives and make the choices that are right for them to make.”
